Common questions
Do I need a college degree to apply?
Not necessarily! While lead teaching positions often require a CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education, we have many positions (like assistant teachers and floaters) where we provide on-the-job training. We also offer paid training opportunities to help you earn your certifications.
Which location is hiring?
We are always accepting applications for all three of our academies: Little Explorers (Mt. Washington), Leap Frog (Fern Creek), and Whiz Kidz (Highview, Louisville). When you apply, simply select the location most convenient for you, or select “No Preference” if you are open to any center.
Can my children attend the center where I work?
Yes! Many of our staff members are also 502Childcare parents. We offer generous childcare tuition discounts for our employees to make high-quality care affordable for your own family.
