Keeping our centers safe, healthy, and running smoothly.
General Policies
These are the core policies that help us provide the best care for your child. For a complete list of all regulations, please download the full Parent Handbook on the Enrollment & Forms page.
Hours of Operation & Attendance Our centers are open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.. To ensure every student can participate in the day’s curriculum, all children must be in the building by 9:30 a.m.. Exceptions are made only if the center is notified in advance.
Late Pick-Up Fees We ask that parents respect our closing time of 6:00 p.m. A late fee of $5.00 is charged for the first minute (6:01 p.m.), followed by $1.00 per minute for every minute thereafter per child. This fee is due immediately to the staff member on duty upon pick-up.
Authorized Pick-Up Your child’s safety is our priority. We will strictly strictly enforce that children are only released to individuals listed on your authorized pick-up list. Photo identification will be required for anyone our staff does not recognize.
Health & Sickness (The “24-Hour Rule”) To maintain a healthy environment, children with the following symptoms will not be admitted:
Fever of 101°F or higher.
Vomiting or diarrhea.
Unexplained rash, eye discharge, or head lice.
If sent home, a child must be symptom-free and medication-free (without the aid of fever reducers like Tylenol or Motrin) for at least 24 hours before returning. Please note that our staff does not administer prescription or over-the-counter medication; parents must administer these prior to arrival or visit during the day.
Inclement Weather In the event of severe weather, please watch WLKY 32 to check our operating status. We will also send notifications via the Brightwheel App and post updates on our Facebook page.
