What to pack for a great day at school
Supply List
To help your child feel comfortable and prepared, we have put together a checklist of daily essentials by age group. Please remember to clearly label all clothing, bottles, and personal items with your child’s first and last name.
General Supplies (All Ages) To ensure your child is comfortable throughout the day, please provide the following items labeled clearly with your child’s first and last name:
Change of Clothing: At least one full change of seasonal clothing (shirt, pants, underwear, and socks) to keep in their cubby for accidents or spills.
Outdoor Wear: A coat or jacket appropriate for the weather, as we play outside daily when weather permits.
Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toed shoes (sneakers) are required for playground safety. Please no flip-flops or open-toed sandals.
Infants & Toddlers For our youngest learners, please pack a diaper bag with the following:
Bottles: Pre-prepared bottles for the day (labeled with child’s name).
Food/Drink: Formula, breastmilk, or specific baby food/cereal. If your child uses a sippy cup, please bring one labeled with their name.
Diapers: Please provide a supply of disposable diapers.
Wipes: The center provides wipes, but you are welcome to bring a specific brand if your child has sensitivity.
Extra Clothing: Please bring two full changes of clothing for this age group.
Potty Training When your child is ready to begin potty training, we ask for your partnership and the following supplies:
Pull-Ups: At least 6 pull-ups per day (Velcro sides preferred for easier changing).
Underwear: At least 4 pairs of extra underwear per day.
Extra Clothing: Multiple changes of pants/shorts, socks, and an extra pair of shoes are highly recommended during this transition.
Naptime Supplies We provide cots and clean sheets for rest time.
Blanket: Please bring a small, lightweight, child-sized blanket for your child to use during naptime.
Labeling: Ensure the blanket is clearly marked with your child’s name.
Notes on Personal Items Please leave personal toys, money, and small objects (like marbles or coins) at home to prevent loss, breakage, or choking hazards. If a comfort item is needed for a new transition, please speak with your Center Director.
